Anna Leyerer (born Pavlova) was born in the rural city Penza, Russia in 1989. At the age of four she received her first private piano lessons, went on to study at the

Penza Music School (G.S. Grossman) in 1994 and commerced to study with G.A. Grossman at the Penza Music College in 2004. Thereafter Anna Leyerer continued

to study at the Saratov State Conservatory L. V. Sobinov in the class of Prof. L. I. Shugom were she graduated with distinction in 2013. After a short stint as piano

teacher at the Saratov State Conservatory, she moved to Austria to study at the Anton Bruckner Private University with Prof. Oleg Marshev, where she graduated in

2016. Recentely she finished the master program in education at the Anton Bruckner University in Linz in the class of Pro. Michael Korstick. Her artistic formation

was also influenced greatly in masterclasses by G. Borisov, E. Kupie, S. Möller, W. Nabore, N. Petrow, S. Pochekun and M. Voskresensky.

Besides her constant solo appearances on stages in Europe, Anna currently teaches piano in music schools in Vienna and is perfecting the piano playing craft with

Albert Mamriev at the Piano Academy Neue Sterne in Hannover.

As soloist and member of chamber music ensembles Anna Leyerer performed in Armenia, Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Ukraine

and the United States, where she debuted with a recital at the Carnegie Hall in New York in 2015. Also she performed with symphony orchestra headed by A. Ivanov

(Moscow, Russia), E. Serov (Volgograd, Russia), V. Ponkin (Krasnodar, Russia), I. Kazhdan (Simferopol, Ukraine), O. Balan (Cantu, Italy), F. Krager (USA), I. Iliev


Since her first victory at the International Young Pianist Piano Competition in Gelendzhik (Russia) 1998 at the age of 8, Anna Leyerer has garnered awards and

honors from many important piano competitions throughout the world. Her latest achievement is the 1st Prize at the 3rd KYIV International Piano Competition
